- Il 18 Gennaio il live "Ra:IN 2016 Ueno Otoyokocho" del 22 Gennaio dei Ra:IN è stato annullato a causa di un cattivo stato di salute del famoso chitarrista PATA, notizia riportata dal suo sito ufficiale.
Al momento non sappiamo ulteriori notizie ma è stato creato su Facebook un evento dove informano che si potrebbe trattare di un coagulo di sangue (trombosi) e che tutte le manifestazioni pubbliche sono state rinviate fino a nuovo avviso all'autunno. ma nulla di più specifico sembra essere stato rivelato.
Questo evento su Facebook si chiama "Pata Fighting and Never Give Up!" e si pone l'obbiettivo di raccogliere messaggi di fans per PATA e di tenere aggiornati su eventuali sviluppi.
Ci auguriamo che PATA possa sentirsi presto bene.

Sembra che Pata non ha mangiato molto per un mese ma che comunque si sta riprendendo.

- In un messaggio del 12 Marzo, giorno in cui si sarebbe dovuto tenere il concerto a Londra, Yoshiki ha rinnovato le sue scuse per aver dovuto posticipare le attività dei X JAPAN .
Inoltre ha informato che PATA è uscito dalla terapia intensiva e sta recuperando lentamente.
In un intervista inoltre Yoshiki ha parlato dello shock della notizia al ricovero di PATA.
Dato che ormai i preparativi per il live di Londra (era tutto pronto) e dell'uscita dell'album e del film stavano andando bene, sembra che PATA abbia detto a Yoshiki che sarebbe andato a Wembley e li sarebbe morto. Yoshiki è rimasto senza parole.
L'osservazione di PATA che "morirò a Wembley" ha risvegliato quella forte sensazione di non volere più perdere nessun membro del gruppo ma dopo questo si è riunito con i membri e hanno deciso di rimandare perchè ha voluto che PATA potesse guarire senza avere pressioni.
Per loro non vi è desiderio più forte di essere tutti insieme con PATA a Wembley.

Pata è stato dimesso dall'ospedale.
